Well, finally, after at least a couple of years of wanting it, I have been "forced" to create a blog! My idea is to share all kinds of little and big things that happen along the way of teaching music, or, in my case, strings to the middle schoolers. I will try to be as consistent as I possibly can at following questions, suggestions and comments...
Before switching to a daily (wishfully) posting I am just going to mention a couple of recent moments.
Not too long ago I have been compared to Franz Schubert by one of my eighth graders (pretty impressive for a Boston inner-city school!)- I have the same glasses as this dude Franz got.
Yesterday, though, another student came to me asking if I have been smoking marihuana because my eyes were red. Well, maybe I have allergies or tired but questions arise, don't you think?
